PAUL DAFFEY — STORIES ON FILM
Logo package
Prepared by GalaxyWeb · August 2026

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
IN SHORT
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Everything here is the same logo, saved in every format you are likely to be
asked for. You do not need to understand the difference — the table below
tells you which folder to open. If in doubt, send the whole folder.

Someone is PRINTING something ................. 02 Print vectors (PDF)
Someone needs it for a SCREEN / a document ..... 04 PNG (transparent)
  A PROFILE PICTURE ............................. 06 Social & profile
Your EMAIL SIGNATURE .......................... 08 Email signature
BUSINESS CARDS ................................ 09 Business cards
  Your web developer ............................ 01 Vector masters + 07

Read "Brand sheet — 1 of 2.pdf" and "2 of 2.pdf" for the colours, the fonts,
and how much space to leave around the logo.

This is the same interlocking PD already on your website, so everything stays
consistent.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
WHAT THE FOLDERS CONTAIN
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

01 Vector masters (SVG)
The originals. Infinitely scalable — a shopfront sign or a stamp, same
file. SVG is the web/design standard. Keep these safe; everything else in
this package was made from them.

02 Print vectors (PDF)
The same artwork as PDF. This is what a printer, signwriter, embroiderer
or designer will ask for. It scales to any size with no loss of quality.

03 Print vectors (EPS)
Same again, in the older EPS format. Some print shops still ask for it.

04 PNG (transparent)
Ordinary picture files with a see-through background, so the logo sits on
any colour. Four widths: 600, 1200, 2400 and 4000 pixels — bigger number,
sharper. 1200 is right for most documents and slides.

05 PNG for print (300 dpi)
Sized in millimetres at print resolution, for anyone who wants a picture
file rather than a vector. 40 mm, 80 mm and 150 mm wide.

06 Social & profile
Square tiles, already padded, for Facebook / Instagram / LinkedIn profile
pictures, plus cover banners and link-preview images.

07 Favicon & app icons
For your web developer — the little icon in a browser tab, and the icon
if someone saves the site to their phone.

08 Email signature
Small, wide versions of the logo for the bottom of an email. Use the
"light-background" one unless your email is set to a dark theme.

09 Business cards
Print-ready artwork — see "Business cards — notes for the printer.txt"
   inside that folder.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
WHICH COLOUR VERSION?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
full-colour ... the normal one. Use it on cream, white or any pale colour.
reversed ...... for a charcoal or dark background.
white ......... one colour, all white — for photographs and dark panels.
charcoal ...... one colour, all charcoal — where colour isn't available.
black ......... one colour, pure black — faxes, stamps, newspaper ads,
                  laser-engraving, anything single-colour.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE FIVE SHAPES
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
lockup-stacked ..... the full logo, mark above the name. The primary one.
lockup-horizontal .. wide version, for letterheads and email signatures.
wordmark ........... the name only, no mark.
mark ............... the interlocking PD only, no name.
icon ............... the same PD set in a square, for anything small.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
A FEW RULES
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
  · Don't retype the name in another font — use the supplied files. The type
in these files is drawn as artwork, so it prints correctly anywhere,
even on a computer that doesn't have the fonts.
  · Don't stretch it. Always scale from a corner so the proportions hold.
  · Leave clear space around it — at least a third of the mark's width.
  · No shadows, glows, outlines or gradients.
  · Don't print the mark smaller than 18 mm wide; below that the fine cut
between the P and the D closes up. Use the square PD icon instead.

COLOURS

Fonts: Fraunces (display) and Newsreader (body) — both free from
Google Fonts. You only need them if you're setting new text; the logo
files themselves need no fonts at all.
